Article 1: General provisions
The e-commerce website of Belles Jumelles, a VOF with its registered office at Wellekensstraat 5, 9300 Aalst, BTW BE 0703.974.629, RPR Ghent (hereinafter “Belles Jumelles”) provides its customers with the option of buying products from its webshop.
These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are applicable to all orders placed by a visitor to this e-commerce website (“Customer”). When placing an order via the webshop of Belles Jumelles, Customer must explicitly accept these Terms, whereby Customer agrees to the applicability of these Terms with the exclusion of all other conditions. Additional Customer conditions are excluded, except when explicit accepted beforehand in writing by Belles Jumelles.
Article 2: Price
All prices listed are expressed in EURO, always include VAT and all other required duties or taxes that the Customer must bear.
Any shipping, reservation or administration fees that are charged must be specified separately.
The specified price refers solely to the articles as set out in writing. The accompanying photos are intended as decorative and may contain elements that are not included in the price.
Article 3: Availability
Despite the fact that the online catalogue and e-commerce website are assembled with the utmost care, it is still possible that information may be incomplete, contains material errors, or is not up to date. Obvious mistakes or errors in the product selection are not binding for Belles Jumelles. With respect to the accuracy and completeness of the provided information, Belles Jumelles is solely bound to obligation of means. Belles Jumelles is in no way liable in event of obvious material or printing errors.
We make every effort to ensure that the colours on the website match those of the actual product as closely as possible. Certain colours may vary due to technical limitations.
If the Customer has specific questions about for instance sizes, colour, availability, delivery terms or method, we ask the Customer to contact our customer service department in advance by sending an email to email@example.com.
The product selection is valid while stocks last and may at any time be changed or withdrawn by Belles Jumelles. Belles Jumelle cannot be held liable for the non-availability of a product. If an offer is for a limited duration or subject to conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.
Article 4: Online purchases
To purchase a product, you first need to add it to your cart. Once you have added your desired products to your cart, you need to enter your contact and invoicing details. Then, you will need to confirm your shipping method. Then, you have to provide us with all necessary details for the payment of the products. Once you complete your order, your purchase is confirmed. The purchase agreement can be concluded in the language of the website where you make your purchase.
We accept orders through online transactions (secure server). All transactions using credit and debit cards are subject to verification and the authorisation of the card issuer. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bancontact/Mister Cash, KBC Online/CBC Online, Belfius Direct Net, iDEAL and PayPal.
If your card issuer refuses to authorise your payment to us, we cannot be held liable for shipping delays or a non-delivery of your order. Orders without valid payment in the name of the registered card holder will not be accepted or processed.
Everything order through the website is a pre-order. This is a service that enables you to order a product before the official launch date.
Attention: minors (under 18) may not proceed to the purchase, unless they have permission of one of their parents or their legal guardian.
Artikel 5: Levering en uitvoering van de overeenkomst
Belgium: 2 – 5 working days.
Rest of Europe: 1 – 2 weeks.
Rest of the World: 1 – 3 weeks.
The post man can only make deliveries during working hours, as you will have to sign for receipt. Therefore, be sure to give an address where someone is present between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. You can also give your work address as the shipping address if this is more convenient for you.
You cannot provide a PO Box address for delivery by bpost. If you give a PO Box address, the package will automatically be returned to Belles Jumelles.
Ordered products will be delivered as quickly as possible in accordance with the requested shipping method. All shipping costs are subject to change without prior notice. We will make every effort to ensure that you receive your order within the estimated delivery time. The maximum delivery time is 30 days following the day after the order was placed. All goods are supplied subject to availability. If we are unable to deliver your goods within 30 days, we will notify you immediately and inform you of the expected delivery date. If we are unable to deliver your goods within 30 days, you may cancel the undelivered orders/products at any time whatsoever once you have been notified of the late delivery. If payment has already been made, you will receive a full refund for the item or items in question. If the goods we supply are damaged during shipping or do not correspond to the items on the delivery note or the items you ordered, you are required to notify us and return the items within 14 calendar days following receipt. If we do not receive such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items and to be satisfied with them. We cannot be held liable for any consequential damage due to late delivery or non-delivery by the carrier engaged by the company. Our liability in such instances is limited to the value of the items which it has been demonstrated were not received by the customer.
Any visible damage to and/or qualitative deficiencies of an article or other deficiency in the delivery must be reported immediately by the Customer to Belles Jumelles.
If the goods we supply are damaged during shipping or do not correspond to the items on the delivery note or the items you ordered, you are required to notify us and return the items within 14 calendar days following receipt. If we do not receive such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items and to be satisfied with them. We cannot be held liable for any consequential damage due to late delivery or non-delivery by the carrier engaged by the company. Our liability in such instances is limited to the value of the items which it has been demonstrated were not received by the customer.
The risk due to loss or damage is transferred to the Customer at the time the goods have been physically received by the Customer (or a third party indicated by the Customer that is not the carrier). However, the risk transfers to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier when the carrier received the commission to transport the goods and this option was not offered by Belles Jumelles.
Artikel 6: Returning and exchanging items
We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase at Belles Jumelles. We make every effort to offer you outstanding quality, value for money and excellent service. If you wish to return or exchange an article, or if you have decided not to keep it, please fill out the return note which you received with your delivery and return this to us within 14 calendar days, together with the items in their original packaging with the label. If appropriate, we will exchange the item or items or refund the cost price. All goods must be returned in new and unused condition, together with a copy of your original delivery note.
If you wish to return an item because it is damaged, please fill out the details on the return note with a description of the damage and return this to us within 14 calendar days, together with the item in its original packaging. If appropriate, we will exchange the item or items or refund the full cost price, including all incurred delivery costs. The customer is responsible for sending the goods and the costs that may incur in doing so.
Artikel 7: Retention of title
Delivered articles remain the exclusive property of Belles Jumelles until the moment the Customer pays for the goods in full.
If necessary, the Customer undertakes to inform third parties of the retention of title belonging to Belles Jumelles, e.g. to anyone who would attempt to seize articles that are not fully paid for.
Artikel 8: REGULATIONS ON DISTANCE SALES / RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The provisions of this article apply solely to Customers in their capacity as consumers purchasing articles online from Belles Jumelles.
In accordance with the regulations on distance sales you have the right to cancel any order placed via the website within 14 calendar days from the delivery date with a view to a refund, provided that the goods have not been used.
To cancel an item, you can send us an e-mail via our e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org, notifying your customer number and the number of your order. You need to take reasonable care of items and retain all original packaging and must not use the item. Items must be returned within 14 calendar days after you have sent us your cancellation message. Items can be returned to our customer service (see contact details). All items will be returned at your expense, unless this concerns damaged or incorrect items, in which case we will refund the costs when we receive the items. If we receive the items in unused condition and in their original packaging with all accessories, you will receive your refund within 30 days of your cancellation message.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The Customer has the right to withdraw from this agreement within a period of 14 calendar days without giving reasons.
The right of withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days after the date when the goods were physically received by the Customer or a third party indicated by the Customer that is not the carrier.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify Belles Jumelles, Wellekensstraat 5 te 9300 Aalst, +32 494 666 203, email@example.com in an unambiguous statement (e.g. in writing by post, or e-mail) about their decision to withdraw from the agreement. The Customer may use the attached template withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To comply with the withdrawal period, the Customer must send a notification of their decision to exercise the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
In any event, the Customer has no later than 14 calendar days from the day that they notify Belles Jumelles of their decision to withdraw from the agreement to send back or hand over the goods to Belles Jumelles, Wellekensstraat 5, 9300 te Aalst. The Customer is on time if they have sent back the goods before the period of 14 calendar days has expired.
The direct costs for returning the goods shall be borne by the Customer.
If the returned product is reduced in value in any way, […] is entitled to hold the Customer liable and demand compensation for each depreciation in value of the goods that are due to the Customer’s use of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary in order to determine the nature, characteristics and operation of the goods.
Only articles that are returned in the original packaging, along with all accessories, instructions and invoice or sales receipt can be returned.
If the Customer withdraws from the agreement, Belles Jumelles shall repay all payments received from the Customer up until that time including standard shipment costs with a maximum of 14 calendar days of the date that Belles Jumelles was notified by the Customer of their decision to withdraw from the agreement. For sales agreements, Belles Jumelles may wait on the reimbursement until all the goods have been sent back, or until the Customer has demonstrated that he has sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.
Any additional costs resulting from the Customer choosing another form of delivery other than by the cheapest standard delivery offered by Belles Jumelles will not be refunded.
Belles Jumelles shall repay the Customer using the same means of payment as the Customer used in the initial transaction, unless the customer explicitly agreed otherwise. In any case, the Customer will not be charged any costs in connection with such repayment.
Artikel 9: Guarantee
The consumer has certain legal rights under the Act of 21 September 2004 concerning protection of consumers when purchasing consumer goods. This statutory guarantee applies from the date of delivery to the first owner. These rights remain in force irrespective of any commercial guarantee.
To make a claim under the guarantee, the Customer must provide some proof of purchase. Customers are advised to retain the original packaging used for the goods.
For articles purchased online and are delivered to the home of the Customer, the Customer must contact the Belles Jumelles customer service and to return the product at their own expense to Belles Jumelles.
Upon detection of a deficiency, the Customer must inform Belles Jumellesas soon as possible. In any case, any deficiency must be reported by the Customer within two months of detection. Hereafter, all rights to repair or replacement are voided.
The (commercial and/or statutory) guarantee are never applicable when there are deficiencies that arise as a result of accidents, neglect, falls, use of the product inconsistent with the purpose for which it was designed, failure to follow the operating instructions or manual, modifications or alterations to the article, rough usage, poor maintenance, or any other abnormal or incorrect use.
Deficiencies that manifest after a period of six months from date of purchase, or where applicable upon delivery, shall be deemed to not be hidden deficiencies, subject to contrary evidence provided by the Customer.

Artikel 11: Penalties for non-payment
Without prejudice to the exercise of any other rights that Belles Jumelles is entitled to, the Customer owes interest at a rate of 10% per year on the non-paid amount in the case of non or late payment starting ipso jure on the date of the breach of contract and without notice. Furthermore, the Customer shall owe ipso jure a flat-rate compensation and without notice 10% of the pertinent amount, with a minimum of 25 euro per invoice.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, Belles Jumelles is entitled to take back the unpaid or incompletely paid for articles.
Artikel 12: Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure to comply with our obligations if this is the consequence of or is caused by labour disputes or any other circumstances that are reasonably beyond the company’s control such as situations of force majeure, civil unrest or riots, floods, fire, strikes, lock-outs, transportation problems and promulgation of laws. If it becomes impossible due to such circumstances for the company to deliver the ordered items in whole or in part within a reasonable timespan, the customer’s liability will be limited to the value of the items already delivered, increased by any associated shipping costs.

The content of this website and any other publications of Belles Jumelles are the property of or are licensed by Belles Jumelles or are used with the owner’s permission. Reproduction is strictly prohibited without authorisation.
